If we talk about remote friendly companies… Automattic is an amazing workplace (We’re hiring). We have a meaningful creed that we develop with fantastic tools, the communication model is a real treasure… and people. Working remotely -well, distributedly properly said- is a freedom arsenal and consequently a creative diversity source. And people working here have incredibly interesting stories, divergent and enriching points of view and cool side projects.

So, among them, there is Doug Aitken, a WooCommerce Happiness Engineer. Apart from being the first to pass me the karma when I joined Automattic, he is the author of some incredibly deep insights like this one. But today we’re talking about this little thing he did for “remote people“. Doug wanted to help other people to find a so cool work as ours and created a remote friendly companies directory called RemoteInTech.company.
